The beach located in Arlington Heights on Lowell Street will now be staffed with lifeguards and administrators through Friday, Aug. 22. In 2022, the beach was upgraded with amenities such as bath house, snack bar, picnic pavilion, playground, a walking path, and accessible parking lot. Arlington's Recreation Department partnered with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division to fund floating beach wheelchairs.
