Main Street in Melrose will close on Thursday to make way for the town's first Summer Stroll, an event that aims to bring local residents to Melrose businesses.  Live music will be provided by a four-piece jazz ensemble and a folk band, <a href="http://melrosechamber.org/ai1ec_event/1078-2/?instance_id=364" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Melrose Chamber of Commerce.</a> Restaurants will offer samples of their food, merchants will provide samples of their wares and discounts will be available in downtown shops.  The event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 on Main Street between Upham Street to Grove Street.
