The Melrose Red Raiders topped the Burlington Red Devils on Friday night, capturing a 21-7 win at Fred Green Field.In victory, Melrose remained focused and showcased a determined effort on both offense and defense, as they improved to 3-0 on the season.Melrose led 7-0 at halftime before adding a pair of second-half scores to seal the deal.Senior Jay Tyler found the end zone twice for Melrose, including a 43-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter of the game. Mike Pedrini added a touchdown of his own.The Red Raiders will next be in action on Friday, Oct. 2, against Watertown.
