Melrose Preps For 2022 Victorian Fair

MELROSE, MA — Melrose’s annual Victorian Fair will return on Sunday, bringing live entertainment, food and booths for local organizations back to Main Street for another year of festivities.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is hosted by the city of Melrose and the Melrose Chamber of Commerce.

The Victorian Fair will include small amusements alongside food, performances and more than 150 booths for civic and non-profit groups, businesses, and local products and services, as noted in an event announcement this week.

The fair will also include a raffle.

Marking its 41st year this week, the Victorian Fair will prompt several road closures in the downtown area. Those will begin at 4 a.m. and last until 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Closures include:

  • Main St. (from Essex St./Upham St. to Grove St.)
  • West Foster St. (from Main St. to Regina Gifts)
  • East Foster St. at Main St.

The Victorian Fair is supported by a number of community groups and organizations.
