Melrose Offers Booster Clinic As Cases Continue To Climb
There were more than 100 COVID-19 cases reported over the past two weeks. A booster clinic will be held Tuesday at Memorial Hall.

MELROSE, MA — The city is hosting a COVID-19 booster clinic Tuesday for most people who have already been fully vaccinated.
The clinic is set for Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 8 a.m.-noon at Memorial Hall.
Anyone 18 or older who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago or a Johnson & Johnson shot at least two months ago can make an appointment. Go here to register.

The number of COVID-19 cases have been on a sharp upswing in Melrose and beyond. Public health data released Thursday showed 111 local cases the past two weeks, along with a positive test rate that has crept back above 3 percent.
Overall Melrose has seen 2,812 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
