1:30 a.m. Domestic disturbance on Berkeley Street.
5:05 p.m. Caller reports fire at on Tremont Street. Cardboard box and leaves had been lit on fire in basement stairwell, according to Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau. Investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, April 19
11:10 a.m. Warrant served at .
2:13 p.m. Disturbance on Linden Road.
5:27 p.m. Past breaking and entering reported from Summer Street.
6:12 p.m. Car crash at Main Street and Ells Avenue. Jose Soto, 39, 1 Cottage St., Wakefield, was arrested on charges of OUI liquor and unlicensed operation of vehicle.
6:48 p.m. Caller from East Foster Street requested an officer to assist him with a tree dispute.
Friday, April 20
10:48 a.m. Walk-in report of fraud from Main Street.
11:20 a.m. Walk-in report of possible credit card fraud from Youle Street.
1:25 p.m. Brush fire, 470 Lynn Fells Parkway at Melrose Street. Officer noticed what appeared to be a small fire in between and , according to DeCroteau. Two youths found in the area and brought to police station. A 15-year-old was subsequently arrested on charges of starting the fire and shoplifting based on an investigation and interviews with parents, and 14-year-old issued a summons on the same charges. Shoplifting charges came from items found in the kids' possession when they were interview, DeCroteau said, who said there is an ongoing investigation related to other incidents that may or may not be connected.
Saturday, April 21
1:24 a.m. Domestic disturbance on Main Street downtown.
1:50 a.m. Car accident into a tree on East Wyoming Avenue. Phillip Edmund Brooks, 40, 130 Bellingham Ave., Apt. 2R, Revere, was arrested on the charge of OUI liquor.
6:04 p.m. Caller from Howard Street reports issue with neighbor who is keeping chickens in their backyard. Civil matter and animal control issue.
6:39 p.m Caller reports bicycle stolen from rear porch of Swains Pond Avenue home.
7:30 p.m. 911 caller reports three men fighting behind downtown Main Street. Officers clear, fight occurred behind .
9:19 p.m. Several 911 calls for fire in bushes on Vinton Street at West Emerson Street.
10:46 p.m. Officer reports that for the second time tonight there have been people outside the on Main Street with alcoholic beverages drinking in public. This group was sent inside.
11:39 p.m. Past break into Lincoln Street home reported.
Sunday, April 22
2:14 a.m. Loud house party on Edgemere Street. Officer said they will bring party inside.
10:29 p.m. Caller reports loud party on Franklin Street. Officer spoke with party, they will turn it down for the night.

A 22-year-old Methuen was placed under warrant arrest on Tuesday, April 17.
A 25-year-old Reading man was issued a summons on Wednesday, April 18 on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and passing violation—on left.
