Road Rage Shooting: Melrose Resident Injured
The man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital.
MELROSE, MA — A resident was shot in the leg during a road rage incident in Saugus, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.
The 32-year-old was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to recover. The incident took place in Saugus’s Cliftondale Square at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday night. Stephen Cooper, 48, was arrested after shooting the man after a physical altercation. Both parties stayed at the scene until police arrived.
