Melrose Running Club Backs RAD Program
The RAD program is the Melrose Police Department's self-defense training course for women.

The Melrose Running Club recently donated $5,000 in support of the police department’s self-defense training course for women.
Melrose Running Club President Jason Doucette and Melrose Run for Women Race Director Liz Tassinari presented Police Chief Michael Lyle with the donation.
The course, known as the RAD program, will be hosting a new class in October.
