The Melrose resident has a 15-year criminal history.

MELROSE, MA — A level 3 sex offender appeared in Lawrence District Court this week on misdemeanor trespassing and disorderly conduct charges, according to a report from Boston 25 News.

According to police, Melrose resident Tyler Jacquard, 29, was arrested after he was caught on Merrimack College’s campus looking into first floor dormitory windows in the early morning hours of Friday, May 2.

Jacquard has multiple prior arrests in 2014, 2015, and 2019 respectively. He was held at a $7,500 bail after prosecutors urged the judge to place steep price due to Jacquard’s criminal history. If Jacquard makes bail, he will be placed on house arrest and ordered to wear a GPS tracking device.
