Melrose Unarmed Robbery Suspect Sought
Police are actively searching for a suspect who robbed a Walgreens Friday morning.

MELROSE, MA — Melrose Police are actively searching for a suspect who was involved in an unarmed robbery today.
Around 11 a.m., a man entered Walgreens, 897 Main St. While in line at the register, the man reached over the counter and grabbed an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing out the back entrance toward Lynn Fells Parkway, police said. No weapon was brandished, police said.
The man is described to be approximately five feet nine inches, age in his thirties with a thin build, balding with the sides of his head shaved and may possibly have a dark-haired goatee in the middle of his chin. He was wearing a dark gray shirt, gray shorts and white and gray sneakers, police said.
He was last seen in the area of Lynn Fells Parkway and Linden Road, police said.
