New Melrose, Wakefield, Saugus Veterans Director Leads Mobile Food Markets

MELROSE, MA — Melrose Veterans Services Officer and Regional Veterans Services Director Roseann Trionfi-Mazzuchelli is leading a series of veterans food bank events that began this past week and that will continue through at least May of next year, the city of Melrose recently announced.

The food banks are organized through the Melrose Veterans Services office, which also provides regional services to veterans in Saugus and Wakefield.

The food banks will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at Melrose Memorial Hall at 590 Main Street in Melrose.

Trionfi-Mazzuchelli began her role earlier this year, heading up regional efforts to help veterans navigate social welfare programs, financial benefits eligibility, employment assistance, counseling and a variety of additional services that either veterans or their families may qualify for.

She joins an existing Veterans Services Office team after roughly a decade in a similar role in Winthrop.

Trionfi-Mazzuchelli also has 21 years of both active duty and reserve service as a Military Police Officer and Special Agent in Army Criminal Investigations Command, as noted in the city's recent announcement.

Trionfi-Mazzuchelli’s current role has her serving as a member of the Melrose Veterans Advisory Board and leading upcoming food bank events. She has encouraged veterans to stop by to meet her and her team at these food bank events.
