Melrose Resident To Help Set Direction Of Organization Changing Lives For People With Disabilities

Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities become full participants in the community, has elected Matthew LaLone of Melrose to its Board of Directors.
LaLone is President of Administration and General Counsel at Energy North, one of the largest wholesale distributors of fuel in New England and Upstate New York. It also operates and owns 70 gas stations, convenience stores, car washes and food service locations as well as providing 45,000 households with heating oil and propane. He is responsible for leading the organization’s HR, IT, Legal and EHS departments. Part of his work is ensuring that Energy North is prepared to respond to industry challenges and opportunities and make a positive impact on the communities it serves.
“It’s an honor for me to join the Northeast Arc’s board of directors,” said Matthew LaLone. “I’ve been involved with many non-profit organizations over the years and being able to help set the direction of this organization that does so much for people with diverse abilities and their families will be very rewarding.”
