Juvenile Allegedly Crashes Vehicle on Orris Street

At 12:33 a.m. April 7, Melrose Police responded to Orris Street for a report of a motor vehicle accient, according to a police log. The caller reported a PT Cruiser had crashed into her neighbor's property, according to the log. A 16-year-old juvenile was summonsed on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lines violation and leaving the scene of property damage, according to the log. A report was taken.

Car Crashes into Melrose Home

At 10:54 p.m. April 5, police responded to the area of Green and Howard Streets for a report of a car crashing into a house, according to a police log. A report was taken. 

At 4:32 p.m. April 6, police went to Conrad Road and summonsed a 48-year-old Melrose woman on charges of speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation, according to the log. 

April 4

9:56 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report a motor vehicle hitting a pedestrian, according to the log. A report was taken.

1:13 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of people stuck in an elevator, according to the log. 

April 5

12:48 a.m.: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the Lebanon and Sylvan Streets area, according to the log. A 23-year-old Boston man was summonsed on charges of speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to the log.

6:37 a.m.: Police responded to the Melrose Housing Authority area for a report of a chair van hitting a low-hanging roof, according to the log. A male was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, while the other individuals involved were not injured, according to the log. The van sustained minor damage, according to the log. A report was taken.

8:14 p.m.: Police called to Cypress Park on a report of possible ID fraud, according to the log. A report was taken.

April 6

7:59 a.m.: Police responded to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on a report of a past assault, according to the log. A 54-year-old Winthrop man was summonsed on a charge of domestic assault and battery, according to the log. It was a multi-city incident, and a report was taken, according to the log.

11:55 a.m.: Police called to Ardsmoor Road for a report of a car broken into overnight, according to the log. A report was taken.

4:03 p.m.: Police responded to Russet Lane on a report of possible fraud, according to the log. A report was taken.

4:23 p.m.: Police called to Garniss Market on West Emerson Street for a report of shoplifting caught on video, according to the log. A report was taken.

April 7

11:58 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report a bike that was stolen on Rendall Place, according to the log. A report was taken.
