'Whitey Bulger' Authors to Speak at Melrose Public Library

1. Library programs: Check out the library activities scheduled for Tuesday, according to the Melrose Public Library website:
- Rockin' Babies and Boppin' Toddlers, 10:15 a.m.-noon, Meeting Room
- HRC English Conversation Project SG/L, 10:30 a.m.-noon, Upper Lobby
- Tuesday morning Book Group, 10:30-11:30 a.m., Trustees Room
- Children's Room closing at 5:45-6 p.m. for author program at 7 p.m.
- Trustees Room and Upper Lobby not available from 7-9 p.m.
- Author's Corner with Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy, 7:30-8:45 p.m., Meeting Room. Cullen and Murphy are the authors of "Whitey Bulger."(This event is sold out.)
2. Rain possible: There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation, with temperatures hitting a high of around 71 on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Melrose. At night, temperatures will dip to a low of around 46, according to the forecast.

3. Local meetings: Here is a look at the meetings scheduled for Tuesday in Melrose, according to the city's website:
- Melrose Housing Authority, 7:30 p.m., Main Office, Ground Floor, 910 Main St.
- Melrose School Committee, 7 p.m., City Hall in Aldermanic Chamber
- Hoover Elementary School Site Council, 3 p.m., City Hall in Conference Room
4. Art time: There is an art class slated for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Milano Senior Center.
