Worcester County Sobriety Checkpoint This Month: State Police
Police said the checkpoint will operate at various times and that vehicle selection will not be random.
WORCESTER COUNTY, MA — A Massachusetts State Police sobriety checkpoint will be held in Worcester County later this month.
The checkpoint will take place somewhere in the county from Friday, Jan. 16, into Saturday, Jan. 17, according to State Police Col. Geoffrey D. Noble.
Officials said the purpose of the checkpoint is to educate the public and strengthen awareness of the need to identify and remove drivers who operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
