39-Year-Old Man Found Dead Near Milford Bike Path

MILFORD, MA — Milford police closed a section of a popular bike path in town after a man was found dead on Sunday morning.

The Milford Police Department said a deceased 39-year-old man was discovered at the Lousia Lake disc golf course shortly before 8 a.m. The trail at the Upper Charles River Bike Path was closed for most of the morning.

The trail reopened at 11 a.m. on Sunday, and police are investigating the incident.

“There is no danger to the public. Milford Police Detectives, along with the Massachusetts State Police, had the area closed off for investigatory purposes, but there was no nefarious act,” said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino.
