5 Things You Need to Know Today: June 17

Milford Selectmen meet tonight, for a full agenda that includes several hearings on bars or restaurants that had recent liquor law violations.

1. Milford Selectmen meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes a series of public hearings with bars and restaurants that violated liquor license laws in police compliance checks.

2. Selectmen will be asked to approve the dates for the annual Portuguese Parade and Picnic. The dates sought are July 20 and 21, with hours from noon to 1 a.m. on July 20 and noon to 11 p.m. on the 21st. The parade would begin at 2 p.m. July 21.
