Milford Lions 9th Annual Golf Tournament

Golf with Steve Nelson, New England Hall of Fame Player

The Milford Lions Club seeks your participation and support for their 9th Annual Golf Tournament. This is their largest fundraising activity for the year and benefits a range of local causes. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 7 at Highfields Country Club in Grafton and will begin with a 10:00 a.m. modified shotgun start. 

“We are thrilled to have former NFL player Steve Nelson participating in this year’s tournament,” stated Nick Valorie, Golf Committee Co-chair. “Steve will play a full round of golf with your threesome if you submit the highest bid by May 24^th.”  

In addition to golf, the winning bidder’s threesome also gets lunch, dinner, and special recognition at the event. The high bid is currently $600.

“Even if you don’t get to golf in his group, you will be able to meet him at the event and find out what a great guy he is,” continued Valorie. The cost for golfing in the event is $125, which includes cart, green fees, lunch, dinner, and prizes. There are other opportunities to participate in the event.
