Thank You from Thanks to Yanks

Michael Shain from Milford, founder and chairperson of “Thanks To Yanks” is pleased to announce the success of another event that pays tribute and honors the sacrifices that military families make on a daily basis.

On March 17th a family magic show was sponsored by Thanks To Yanks. Approximately 300 people attended and were delighted by the magic of Tommy James.

The show was free but those who attended were asked to bring items that could be shipped overseas by Uxbridge Supports Our Troops.

The response by those in attendance was fantastic. Thanks To yanks is thrilled to be able to send a taste of home to our deployed military.

Thanks to yanks has made the magic show a yearly winter time tradition. We are a  Milford-based organization whose goal is to remember the events and heroes of 9/11/01 while also respecting the sacrifices that our military and their families deal with on a daily basis.

The next large event is planned for 9/11/13 at the Medway VFW.
