MILFORD, MA — The Milford Cultural Council has revealed the local artists who will be decorating trash barrels to be placed around town as part of the "Trash to Treasure" project.

The dozen artists will begin crafting the barrels this summer, and they will be ready for display by September. The cultural council will hold an unveiling ceremony for the work on Sept. 10 at Fino Field.

“The council received a diverse range of designs from nearly 20 professional artists, art students, and community members," Milford Cultural Council Chair Geri Eddins said. "We are so grateful for this enthusiastic participation and the financial support offered by the sponsors. We invite all Milford residents to join us for the reveal event on September 10 when we will display the barrels at Fino Field and the bike trail for all to see as we celebrate our local talent.”
