According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Milford resident Ryan Sweatt, 36, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing bodily injury, operating to endanger and a marked lanes violation after the incident Thursday. Ryan said Sweatt ran Decoff down after she got out of a car along Route 85.
"At some point, some of the occupants of the other vehicle, including the victim, exited the car. Sweatt subsequently made a U-turn at a high rate of speed and struck the victim in the roadway," Ryan said in a news release Friday.
