Fino Pool Being Prepped for Opening

Milford is preparing Fino Field Memorial Pool for an opening, possibly as soon as this month. 

The workers were delayed somewhat by rain in recent days. On Thursday, two men were scraping out the bottom of the pool, which was sandblasted over the winter. Another employee was mowing the grass

The pool will be painted, then filled, in coming days. The bathrooms are newly refinished, and an outdoor shower has been installed.

An opening date will be set sometime next week, said Parks Director Mike Bresciani.
