Gas Drops Below $3 in Parts of Massachusetts--But Not Milford

Gas prices this week plummeted to their lowest levels of the year—dropping below $3 a gallon in some parts of Massachusetts. But Milford’s prices have remained well above $3 per gallon.

In Milford, prices reached a low of $3.19 per gallon. Here’s a look at the lowest prices in town as of Thursday, according to GasBuddy:

  • Valero (124 E. Main St. & North St.): $3.19
  • Sunoco (100 E. Main St. & Cedar St.): $3.23
  • BP (61 Main St. & Pearl St.): $3.25
  • Mobil (140 Medway Rd. & Beaver St.): $3.25
  • Gulf (267 Main St. & Water St.): $3.27 (cash)

The average price of gas statewide was $3.26. Prices have been driven down by low demand and abundant supplies, according to the Associated Press.
