Health Inspections: TGI Friday's, Tony's Place, Sal's Pizza

The following health inspections were completed in the first three weeks of May.

Editor's Note: the following health inspections were completed from May 1 through May 22.

One violation here. Duct tape is not an acceptable repair on the rear kitchen screen door.

Seven violations noted here, which included the following: hamburger needs to be covered in one of the main line coolers, foods and sauces need to be covered in a freezer and cooler, also, next to the main line equipment, do not cover foods in the walk in cooler with inverted trays, cover properly, foods in cardboard boxes cannot be stored on teh floor in the walk-in freezer, and one floor grate that was not covered needs to be cleaned and covered due to a build of assorted debris.

One violation here. Bulk bags of rice need to be stored elevated or on store shelves. Cannot be stored on the floor.

There were three violations here which included the need for an additional thermometer inside the Frigidaire Freezer, and cover cheeses and flour when not in use.

Four violations noted here during an inspection. They included the need to clean the food racks in the walk-in cooler, covera  container of rice that was not being used, and to be sure knives are clean and sanitized before storing them in the knife rack.

Violations here included the following: need to clean the exterior and the door guides for the two-door glass cooler, clean and maintain counter area exposed to use by the restaurant employees, clean interior of two-door prep cooler, including the base and door guides, clean, disinfect and open drain for employee hand sink, need to find the thermometer for the large chest freezer.

Violations here included the need for additional thermometers in coolers or freezers where missing, and bag of carrots in the walk-in cooler needs to be stored off the floor.

Waters Corp., 5 Technology Dr., May 22: Violations here include the need to cover foods entirely in the walk in freezer, clean the interior of the convection oven, clean interiors of both microwave ovens, mount the soap dispenser for the deli prep area.
