Here is Milford High School's Cell Phone Policy for the 2014-2015 School Year

A new school year is about to begin in Milford, and school officials have released the district’s cell phone policy list prior to students’ returning to the classrooms on Tuesday.
Students who carry cell phones must keep them put away during the school day, and students can incur up to three offenses of using cell phones before having the devices put away, according to the policy.

Cell phones must be put away and not visible. Student cell phone use is not permitted in the classroom, library, computer labs, auditorium, or offices. The use, sound, or visible presence of a cell phone in a classroom, library, computer lab, auditorium, or offices, will result in the following consequences: 1st offense-Verbal Warning; 2nd offense-Teacher Detention; 3rd offense – Student remands cell phone to the House office. At the 3rd offense, the student’s cell phone will be locked in a cell phone locker in the office. The student’s parent/guardian must retrieve the cell phone between the hours of 2:30-3:30pm. Cell phones will not be returned to the student. Failure to remand the cell phone to the office at the 3rd offense will result in a 1 day out of school suspension. After the 3rd offense, all subsequent cell phone violations will result in the student remanding the cell phone to the office to be locked in the cell phone locker and retrieved by a parent/guardian between 2:30-3:30pm.
