Milford firefighters are extinguishing a fire at 9 South Central St., after the attic was ignited by an apparent lightning strike. The fire was reported about 6:30 p.m. Monday and was visibly showing when firefighters arrived. The homeowners were all out of the house and safe. Milford is being assisted by Hopedale and Hopkinton at the scene. Patch will update the post as more information becomes available.
