Longtime Hair Salon's Landlord Sells Unit To Chain, Forces Move

MILFORD, MA—A hair salon that has been located on Medway Road for 35 years in Milford was told they had to move, and abruptly, according to reports.

Before & After at Always Hair Salon's owner was planning on renewing a lease that was expiring, but was told she had been evicted, with the building's landlord selling the unit to a national chain, reports the Milford Daily News.

Stevens, who bought the salon from the original owner ten years ago, told the Daily News that employees were crying when they heard the news.

The salon will be open at its current location until May 19, after which it is moving to 196 East Main St., Quarry Square Shopping Center.
