Milford 2023 Election Candidate Forum Coming In March
Milford's 2023 election will feature contested races for school committee and planning board.

MILFORD, MA — Brush up on your local election knowledge at the annual Citizens for Milford candidates forum this month.
In 2023, the forum will feature the candidates running for contested races for Milford Planning Board — two separate races: one for a 3-year term, a second for a 5-year term — and for Milford School Committee. No other Milford races are contested this year.
The March 21 forum will feature three of the four planning board candidates, and three of the five school committee candidates.

This is the 10th annual Citizens for Milford candidate forum. During the event, each candidate will give a two-minute speech about why they're running and then answer questions. The candidates will also get to ask each other questions.

"Citizens for Milford is pleased to be hosting the Candidate Forum for the tenth year. We encourage voters to join us in Town Hall on March 21 to meet the candidates and ask their own questions regarding issues confronting the community and our schools," Citizens for Milford Chair Geri Eddins said in a news release.
Voters in Milford can send questions for candidates via email to citizensformilford@gmail.com, or through Facebook messenger to @CitizensforMilford.
The March 21 forum will begin with a candidate meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall followed by the formal program at 7 p.m. The forum will be broadcast live on MilfordTV online and on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 38. MilfordTV will also replay the forum ahead of Election Day on April 4.
