MILFORD, MA — Do you ever walk down a street in Milford and think, "This really needs a cleaning?" Now's your chance to make that happen.

The organizers behind the Milford Beautification Day litter pickup this weekend need suggestions for where volunteers should focus their efforts.

"The group is asking residents to report streets and neighborhoods that are of particular concern, so these areas can be included on the routes provided to volunteers," organizer Citizens for Milford said in a news release.

The 2023 Milford Beautification Day will be the eighth organized by Citizens For Milford and will coincide with Earth Day 2023.

During the event, volunteers will scour town streets, parks, pathways and more for litter, aiming to collect as much as possible over four hours. Last year, 150 volunteers collected 13 truckloads of trash.
