Milford Joins In Hope For Heroes Veterans Drive

MILFORD, MA—Join Thanks To Yanks to support Hope for Heroes donation drive for homeless veterans, which starts on Nov. 8 and runs through Nov. 11.

Hope for Heroes collects items to be donated to homeless veterans who live at various veteran shelters. The sponsoring charity is Thanks To Yanks, a non-political 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support military members, veterans and their families.

The dropoff location is DCH Milford Toyota at 300 Fortune Boulevard.

Donation Hours:

Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Items needed:
* New Bedding - Twin Blankets and Sheets
* New Towels
* Gift Cards - CVS, Target, Walgreen or Walmart
* Non-perishable Food Products
* Hygiene Items - Men’s/Women’s Deodorant, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste, Razors, Feminine Hygiene Products, Shaving Cream
* Clothing - New or Gently Used Coats (L-XL), Winter Hats, New Men’s Underwear (L-XL), Men’s/Women’s Gloves (L-XL), Socks, Sweat Tops and Bottoms (L-XL)

On the morning of Saturday, Nov. 11, DCH Milford Toyota provides free coffee and donuts for all who come in to donate.
