Milford Pedestrian Killed By Driver, Police Investigating

The man was hit along Dilla Street near Route 85 over the weekend, Milford police said.

MILFORD, MA — Local law enforcement groups are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that happened in Milford over the weekend.

Near 4 a.m. Sunday, police responded to near the Dilla Street Wendy's restaurant on a report of a pedestrian getting hit by a driver. The 31-year-old victim later died, Milford police said. The driver stayed near the scene of the collision.

Milford police did not immediately release the identity of the victim, and did not immediately announce any criminal charges against the driver.

The incident was still under investigation Monday by Milford police, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office motor vehicle homicide unit and the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council accident reconstruction team.
