Milford Police K9 Finds Man During Car Break-In Spree In Bellingham
The incident early Monday morning led to the arrest of three people and the recovery of stolen items, police said.
BELLINGHAM, MA — A Milford police K9 helped find a man who ran from police responding to a report of active car prowling in Bellingham.
According to Bellingham police, officers went to a neighborhood just west of Route 126 after midnight after someone called to report two men breaking into vehicles.
When police showed up, the two men ran. Bellingham police chased and caught one of the men, and Milford police K9 Kodak helped find a second man who was hiding behind a fence. Police also found a woman parking in a car along Monique Drive who was helping with the thefts, the department said.

After arresting the trio, police found a backpack full of items likely stolen from cars in the neighborhood. Bellingham police said residents who had property stolen overnight can contact the department.
