Milford Police: Odor of Gas Detected at Community Pediatrics of Milford

At 7:27 a.m., a caller reported to Milford Police that he had a stray dog on his property on Alfred Road. The animal was a Yorkshire terrier; Animal Control was notified.

At 2:41 p.m., a caller reported a two-car accident in the area of Highland and West Fountain streets. Two vehicles were towed from the scene; no injuries were reported.

At 3:31 p.m., police received a report of an accident in the back of the parking lot at Milford Hospital on Prospect Street involving a beige Nissan Maxima and a blue Honda Accord. No injuries were reported.

At 4:23 p.m., a caller reported a two-car accident in the area of Westview Mall on West Street. No injuries were reported.

At 5:04 p.m., a caller reported an odor of natural gas coming from an office at the Community Pediatrics of Milford on East Main Street. NSTAR reported to the building to investigate.

At 5:19 p.m., a caller requested an officer regarding a possible larceny that took place two nights prior, during which a Playstation 4 system and several video games were reportedly taken from a location on Mill Pond Circle.

At 6:08 p.m., a caller reported possible black smoke rising in the area of South Central and Central streets. The Milford Fire Department responded to investigate, but found nothing upon arrival.

At 6:34 p.m., Massachusetts State Police reported a motor vehicle accident on Rte. I-495 near Exit 19, resulting in one person sustaining a back injury.
