Milford Regional Medical Center Recoups $7 Mil Loss, Expands

The hospital continued to grow, said Milford Regional Medical Center's CEO.

MILFORD, MA—Milford Regional Medical Center bounced back from a some $7 million loss, even expanding several areas of the hospital, according to reports.

Representatives to the Milford Daily News that the hospital expanded the areas of prostate cancer, neurosurgery, gastrointestinal and vascular services, as well as opening a new urgent care in 2017, despite recovering from the millions in losses.

President and CEO Edward Kelly told the Daily News that "patients want to come here" despite fighting the budget loss, so the hospital continued to grow to meet those needs.
