Milford Water Company Eases Outdoor Watering Restrictions

The levels of a lake in Hopkinton have increased enough for an easing of the year-long Level III watering restrictions in Milford

The Milford Water Company announced Tuesday it has moved to Level II outdoor watering restrictions, a softening of conservation efforts due to increased rainfall.

In a notice to customers distributed to the media, the Water Company said that levels of the Echo Lake Reservoir have reached a point not seen in more than a year.

Under Level II outdoor watering restrictions, customers of the utility can use sprinklers and other irrigation systems on an odd-even address basis, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily.
