Milford Youth Center is Hiring Three Part-Time Employees

1. Must Like Kids: The Milford Youth Center is adding a few part-time staffers to help with its after-school and space rental programs. Two positions will be for after-school hours, from 2 to 6 p.m., as an Activities Supervisor and a Concession/Equipment Monitor. The third position, Front Desk Monitor, will be for both after-school and rental hours, and involves weekend and evening hours. Mature young adults (18+) are encouraged to apply.

2. The Milford Farmers Market continues to add farmers and vendors, as it looks toward a second market day on Saturday. The market will also include Pure and Simple Vanilla, which will sell vanilla products, and a new produce vendor, Medway Community Farm. The Farmers Market is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next to Milford Town Hall.

3. BayPath Humane Society in Hopkinton will receive the proceeds of a coupon that can be redeemed at Sports Authority this weekend. The shelter is a non-profit that places dogs and cats in new homes.

4. Save the Date: The third annual Matthew Denice Memorial Bike Ride will be Sept. 22, setting off from the VFW in Uxbridge. The time will be announced soon.
