MILFORD, MA—From parties to trips to group meetings to lunch and clinics, there's a lot going on at the Milford Senior Center.

Octoberfest: Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 12:30 p.m. Entertainment by DJ Ronnie Auger. Raffles and door prizes, light snacks & refreshments. Come and see the Horribles Parade performed by the children from the Creative Community Child Care of Milford! Costumes optional! Tickets $5

Breakfast: Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 @ 9:00 a.m. Topic: Fire Safety. Presentation by Pat Evans from The Milford Fire Department. Tickets $3
Book Club: Tuesday, October 17, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. – “The Secret Place” by Tana French. In this police procedural mystery, Detective Stephan Moran gets his chance to break into Dublin’s Murder Squad when a young woman from a boarding school brings him a clue about a murdered classmate. A note left on an anonymous board at the school says: I KNOW WHO KILLED HIM… To reserve a copy of the book, please call the Milford Town Library’s Information Desk at 508-473-2145.
Healthy Living Luncheon: Thursday – October 19, 2017 @ 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by Milford Regional Medical Center. Topic: Heartburn & Digestive Issues. Presenter: Dr. Weiner. $5 refundable

Movie: Friday, Oct. 27, @ 12:30 p.m. “A Man Called Ove” PG-13 2 hrs. Despite being deposed as president of his condo's resident association, 59-year-old misanthrope Ove continues to plague his neighbors with dictatorial demands. But when Ove's new neighbor runs over his mailbox, the old crank finds he's met his match. Cast: Rolf Lassgård, Bahar Pars, Filip Berg. No Cost & BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH & FREE POPCORN
Trips:
Norman Rockwell Museum & Red Lion Inn: Friday, October 20, 2017. Depart Center 8:00 a.m. Tickets are $89.00. You will tour Stockbridge and it’s authentic shops & historic sights. You will then enjoy a luncheon at the Red Lion Inn with entree choices of Yankee Pot Roast or Salmon. A visit to Norman Rockwell Museum will follow. Arrival back to the center at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Holiday Boston Pops: Tuesday, December 12, 2017. You will depart the Center at 10:30 a.m. and travel into Boston for a wonderful luncheon at the Venezia Restaurant overlooking Boston Harbor. You will have a choice of Chicken Parmigiana or Baked Haddock. You will then travel along Boston Common to view the beautiful Christmas lights before arriving at Symphony Hall for a 4:00pm matinee performance with a special appearance by Santa!
We will arrive back to the Center at approximately 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $129.00. BE SURE TO SIGN UP EARLY.
Milford Senior Center Walkers: Come and join our walking club. We meet Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. at the Center to walk the Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail weather permitting.
