New Milford Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Opening

MILFORD, MA—Milford - you've got a new superstore in town in which to shop for groceries (and more).

The new Stop & Shop store at Milford Crossing (126 Medway Road) in Milford celebrates its grand opening on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 a.m.

The new 66,000 square-foot store features: market-style produce department with a smoothie bar; fresh meat and seafood departments; natural and organic food offerings; fresh Sushi prepared by sushi chef; poke bar; Stop & Shop Pharmacy; Starbucks; Citizen Bank; and Click & Connect Pick-up at which Milford customers can shop at home and pick-up their groceries at the store at their selected time

Todd Hurteau is the store manager of the new Milford store. To celebrate the grand opening, Stop & Shop will donate $1,000 to the Milford Food Pantry.

The Stop & Shop store located at 196 E Main Street in Milford will close on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m.

The new Stop & Shop, located at 126 Medway at Milford Crossing, features for its grand opening each weekend through Dec. 17 samplings, activities, children's entertainment and appearances by the New England Patriots Cheerleaders.
