The NRG LAB Takes Over Midtown Family Fitness In Milford

MILFORD, MA—The NRG LAB Inc. acquired Midtown Family Fitness in Milford on April 17, the company announced this week.
NRG LAB brings an additional NRG LAB offering to the Milford community as it launches its
Neighborhood club model.
"We are excited to bring the NRG LAB Brand to Milford," Luther White, founder and president, said in a statement, "as our new Neighborhood club model will offer many of the expected NRG LAB qualities of the NRG LAB Brand in a smaller footprint and a reduced price point. Milford will gain a new health club offering NRG LAB's original programming, professional personal training team and nutritional programming."

NRG LAB Milford remained open after the acquisition with a soft opening on April 17. A grand opening is scheduled for Sept. 29.
"We have a lot of work to complete to lift the new club up to NRG LAB Brand standards," said White in a statement. "We have been humbled by the reception from the Milford community and the reception our new
members have given us. We have completed a lot of facility and equipment upgrades already and look forward to the completion of our fuel station by late summer. Our new Function Training or Turf area is amazing as that space is already being heavily utilized."

NRG LAB Milford will continue offering the group fitness classes members have come to love and will roll out a full group fitness schedule for the grand opening. Personal Training in Milford MA is in full swing while Youth Summer Training (Future Stars Camp) begins June 18 and will run the entire summer. The large family gym in Milford MA will also offer massage therapy and nutrition counseling.
A few of the club highlights are MAX30, Spin, Youth Performance Training, and MyZone.
"We are thrilled to have the bike path attached to our property," said White in a statement. "This allows us to expand our indoor programming to the outdoors. Triathlon, Biking, Running and Walking clubs are all in
the planning phase. We also have Spartan and Tough mudder obstacle course training to be held outdoors in
the works. Community programming is where we excel and we recognize this unique location provides
tremendous community programming opportunities."
