Police Log: Cars Broken into at Planet Fitness

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

4:07 p.m.: A woman in the police station lobby reported her credit card had been stolen while at Kmart, and used there along with multiple other locations.

4:59 p.m.: A caller at Planet Fitness reported two cars in the lot were broken into.

7:49 p.m.: A man walked into police headquarters to talk to an officer about a theft. Police are seeking a summons to charge Christina Galstian, 46, of 17 S. Main St., Apt. 2, Milford, with larceny from a building.

9:31 p.m.: A caller at Dunkin Donuts on South Main Street reported a hit-and-run.

Thursday, Feb. 28

5:42 a.m.: A caller from Correia Circle reported two large vehicles were stuck and the operator was causing a disturbance trying to get one free.

11:03 a.m.: A caller on Pheasant Circle reported her handicapped space was being taken by a vehicle that does not have a placard, and doesn't belong there, as the space is assigned to her. Police ticketed the vehicle.

11:51 a.m.: A caller at Milford District Court reported a theft from a vehicle. Police are seeking a summons to charge Justina Marie Lawrence, 19, of 368 Providence St., Woonsocket, RI, with larceny under $250.

12:03 p.m.: A caller reported a conflict with a patient at Spectrum, who had been terminated from the program, and he had left very angry. The caller asked for a well-being check. Police spoke to him.

1:02 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said she had had an argument with a man, and he physically assaulted her. Police arrested Michael O'Neill, 21, of 11 Court St., Apt. 2, Milford, on three counts of malicious destruction of property, more than $250 and one count of domestic assault and battery.

1:32 p.m.: Police responded to Arcos Market for a report of suspicious activity. Police arrested Sarah E. Mandell, 21, of 40 Jefferson St., Apt. 5, Milford, on three warrants.

3:09 p.m.: A woman in the lobby reported her car had been struck in the parking lot of Stacy Middle School. She then decided to contact her insurance company and did not want to speak to an officer.

4:06 p.m.: A woman was detained by Kohl's loss prevention employees for shoplifting. Police were enroute to help identify her.
