Police Log: Customer Causes Scene at CVS, 13-Year-Old Won't go to School

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 19

4:40 p.m.: A caller said Verizon dumped all of its spray cans in the woods next to his house on Eben Street. An officer spoke to the manager and told him about the problem.

5:05 p.m.: An open manhole cover was reported on East Main Street at Reade Street.

5:56 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash with no injury in front of the EZ Way Car Wash on East Main Street.

6:21 p.m.: A caller on Church Street told police that five or more kids were playing on construction equipment. An officer found the kids were sitting on the flat bed truck, and had no risk of injury.

7:25 p.m.: Hopedale reported a BOLO on a 1999 Oldsmobile, which led Woonsocket RI police on a high speed chase through Blackstone.

8:11 p.m.: A caller reported a man was hitch-hiking on Purchase Street, carrying a gas can and walking with urgency. She thought this was suspicious. An officer was dispatched, but could not find the man.

8:16 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report threats and harassment.

10:07 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and asked to speak to an officer about bullying at school.

11:52 p.m.: An employee at CVS on South Main Street said a customer was trying to use his mother's credit card, and she will not let him, so he was now causing a scene. Police responded and spoke to everyone.

Thursday, June 20

7:05 a.m.: A woman in the police department lobby said another woman was harassing her.

7:42 a.m.: A 13-year-old was refusing to go to school. The school police officers were sent to the house to talk with her.

11:20 a.m.: A caller on Water Street reported vandalism.
