Police Log: Elderly Man Walking into Traffic

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, May 8

4:00 p.m.: A caller reported a crash with possible injury on I-495 North. Firefighters responded. The extent of injury was not clear in the police log narrative.

6:21 p.m.: A woman in the police station reported she had money being stolen from her account.

8:11 p.m.: Police received a 911 call with a child on the line, who said everything was all set, then hung up. Yelling could be heard in the background. Officers checked and everything was OK.

8:49 p.m.: A man told police his wallet was stolen, or lost, at the Milford Town Park last week. He said the wallet had several cards inside, and $80 in cash.

11:26 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about an ongoing domestic problem with her son.

Thursday, May 9

12:02 a.m.: A caller at La Quinta Inn said they had to kick out a man who had been returning with threatening letters.

12:41 a.m.: A caller reported loud music coming from a Main Street apartment.

7:37 a.m.: Police received several calls reporting a crash on Whitewood Road at Silver Hill Road. The extent of injuries was not known.

9:09 a.m.: A caller on Meade Street said an elderly man with a cane was walking in and out of traffic.

10:59 a.m.: A caller said a man had passed out in the parking lot of Milford District Court. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

3:03 p.m.: A man told police somone had been charging his credit card in multiple locations.
