Police Log: Flooding at Wendy's Entrance, Stolen Checks and Copper Pipe

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, June 13

4:10 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Central Street, near Jacor Inc. No one was hurt.

4:58 p.m.: A caller told police she'd had people over the previous night, and this morning, she noticed her iPad and money were missing. Police filed a report.

7:31 p.m.: A caller told police a man was setting off fireworks in a lot on Fruit at South Main streets. Police could not locate him.

8:07 p.m.: A caller said he's friends with a girl who he thinks lives in Milford, and she is a high school student who may want to harm herself. He had a cell phone number. Police tracked it down to an area of town, and conducted house checks. The police were not able to match the name, but matched the number to someone who was OK.

11:52 p.m.: A caller from Wendy's said a Dodge Stratus went through standing water at the Wendy's entrance, and although the car didn't get stuck, it wouldn't start. It would be parked in the lot overnight, police were told. Art's Towing arrived and management at the restaurant put up a barrier so no one else could come through the water.

Friday, June 14

7:59 a.m.: A one-car crash was reported on West Street. No injury was reported.

7:59 a.m.: A caller asked to speak to an officer about noise on Zain Circle.

8:28 a.m.: A 30-year-old woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center from Archer Rubber, after being found unresponsive on the first floor.

8:49 a.m.: A caller reported a red Hyundai Sonata was smashed outside Milford District Court.

9:27 a.m.: A family dispute was reported at the ambulance entrance to Milford Regional Medical Center. Two officers responded.

10:24 a.m.: A caller at Crown Electrical Supply Co. on Central Street reported the theft of checks and copper pipe.

1:08 p.m.: A child was reported to be walking around on Lawrence Street with no adult supervision. An officer responded and found the child was with a grandmother.

1:57 p.m.: A caller said three of her wife's family members showed up at the apartment and let themselves in without permission. And they then caused a disturbance. One of the women then called police and said they were concerned for the first caller's safety. Police filed a report.

2:39 p.m.: Dirt bikes were reported to be riding up and down Water Street.
