Police Log: Man Charged with Stealing Change Machine
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, May 19
5:18 p.m.: Following a crash at Stop & Shop on East Main St., police were seeking a summons to charge Parker A. Grant, 50, of 18A Rosenfeld Ave., Milford, with leaving the scene of property damage.
7:39 p.m.: A caller said he found trash in his yard and in the street, on Congress Street, and said he swept the trash out of the street. He estimated he swept about 70 pounds worth, and thinks the Milford Highway Department should come pick it up.

9:15 p.m.: A caller said a man who had been drinking on West Street was now trying to leave in his car. Police spoke to the man, who said he had no intentions of driving.
10:39 p.m.: A man on Depot Street said it sounded like someone was in the vacant first floor unit. Police found a man and escorted him off the site.

Monday, May 20
12:08 a.m.: State Police said they received a call from a woman who reported her friend was posting statements on Facebook that indicated he was suicidal. Police responded and took the man to Milford Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.
11:46 a.m.: Police responded to TGI Friday's. Julianne Mangini, 24, of 143 Mendon St., Uxbridge, was arrested on a warrant.
12:00 p.m.: A caller on Pheasant Circle reported the change machine had been stolen off the laundry room wall. Police responded. A detective reported he spoke to someone who gave him permission to enter an apartment. Police arrested Derek Scott Demers, 30, of 3 Pheasant Cir., Apt. 4, Milford, on charges of wanton destruction of property worth more than $250, receiving stolen property worth more than $250 and larceny more than $250.
12:28 p.m.: An officer was helping a man with a broken wheelchair get back home to Prospect Street.
