Police Log: Man Suffers Frostbite, Noise Complaints
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 26
7:59 p.m.: A caller said while she drove by Courtyard by Marriott Hotel on Fortune Boulevard, she saw a group of young teenagers running into the road several times. She was concerned for their safety. Police responded and an officer spoke to the teens. They were staying at the hotel and just trying to cross the street.
8:36 p.m.: A caller on Main Street said she saw a vehicle strike a pole at the intersection with South Main Street. The pole was down. An officer responded. The pole was removed and the wires secured.
10:46 p.m.: A caller at Milford Regional Medical Center said a patient was acting-out.
11:08 p.m.: A tractor trailer unit was idling at the parking lot for Planet Aid. Police spoke to the driver.
Sunday, Oct. 27
12:29 a.m.: A caller reported a loud party in the street on Prospect Heights near the memorial park.
1:27 a.m.: A woman said she heard a door slam and saw a light on in her car, then saw a man in jeans and possibly a plaid shirt. Officers responded. An officer thought he saw a man running in the area of South Terrace. Officers were searching behind houses in the area.
2:28 a.m.: A detective was in the area of Fairview Road, where a resident heard something.
8:47 a.m.: Firefighters extinguished a brush fire on Cedar Street.
9:23 a.m.: A man reported an issue between his daughter and the father of their child over custody of the child. The man would not give the baby back, he said. Police responded.
9:40 a.m.: A caller at Rite Aid pharmacy on Medway Road asked for police help with a homeless man in the store. They wanted help in finding somewhere for him to stay. Police responded. The man was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
9:45 a.m.: A man asked to speak to police about a woman he was seeing. He said she stole some items from him while he wasn't home, and then made suicidal statements via text messages.
1:03 p.m.: A caller on South Terrace reported items were missing from a vehicle, including money and a debit card.
1:26 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and reported that skateboarders were at Draper Memorial Park, on the war monument.
5:43 p.m.: A caller reported hearing loud thumping noises and crying from a nearby apartment, on Capitol Road. Officers responded and determined it was people making noise, who were advised to keep it down.
5:51 p.m.: A man in his 40s was taken to the hospital from Lowe's, after having a seizure.
6:24 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and asked to file a report about a stolen phone.
Monday, Oct. 28
5:08 a.m.: A caller reported trucks were running in the Planet Aid lot. An officer responded, and found a truck driver warming up and defrosting his vehicle.
5:53 a.m.: ICE requested police assistance in identifying several people on Main Street.
8:41 a.m.: Riverside Community Services reported having a 37-year-old man with frostbite. He was sitting in the back yard of the building, on Hamilton Street. Police escorted him to the hospital.
12:30 p.m.: A caller on Haven Street asked for an officer. He said his dog had been struck and killed by a car.
1:01 p.m.: A caller asked for police to check on the well-being of a Water Street man who had made threats if the IRS took any action on him. The man told police he did lose his temper and made a comment, but was just angry about a court situation.
