Police Log: Milford Woman Charged for Driving with Revoked License

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 28

At 7:11 a.m., a caller reported a two-car accident in the area of Woodridge Road involving a gray Scion and a black Jeep. No injuries were reported.

At 7:14 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle had been driving up and down Brookfield Road slowly for about 45 minutes. Officers responded and spoke to the driver, who had been out looking for his cat.

At 12:17 p.m., police received a report of two females entering a window of a residence in the area of West and S. Richard streets. Officers responded and determined that one of the females lives at the location.

At 2:09 p.m., a caller reported that an unknown vehicle had been parked in her driveway. Officers determined the vehicle belonged to the resident’s neighbor.

At 2:21 p.m., a caller reported that a larceny had occurred on Lincoln Street. Officers investigated and believed that a crew cleaned the wrong residence by mistake.

At 3:12 p.m., a caller reported he had been involved in a vehicular accident near the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on East Main Street. No injuries were reported.

At 3:53 p.m., a caller reported a large sinkhole under the Rte. I-495 overpass on Medway Road. Officers responded and found a small pothole.

At 4:15 p.m., a caller reported a female shoplifter at Hannaford on Medway Road. Police subsequently issued a summons to Carol Cribby, 43, of Milford, on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and larceny of less than $250.

At 4:24 p.m., a resident reported to police of a potential fraud in which a bus ticket for a Foxwoods had been paid but the bus never arrived. Officers investigated and found there had been a mixup with the dates listed.

At 4:30 p.m., police pulled a vehicle over in the area of East Main and Free streets, where they arrested Carol Cribby, 43, of Milford, for operating a vehicle with a revoked license.

At 5:01 p.m., Massachusetts State Police reported an accident in the area of Medway Road.

At 5:43 p.m., a caller reported a three-car accident in the area of Main Street. No injuries were reported.
