Police Log: Neighbors Accused of Harassment, Domestic Violence
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 4
8:47 p.m.: A caller reported a group of men on Luby Avenue was yelling threats at her, and said they were going to jump her. She could not identify them but identified the address for police. Police checked the area and could not locate them.
8:53 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic assault on Howard Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge Jose A. Torres, 43, of 21 Howard St., Milford, with domestic assault and battery.
9:42 p.m.: A caller reported domestic violence. Police are seeking a summons to charge Wilfried Braunack, 55, of 13 Reade St., Apt. 2R, Milford, with domestic assault and battery and wanton destruction of property, less than $250.
11:41 p.m.: A property owner on Cape Road said she could see on security cameras from her home a truck pull up to the construction area of the Kennedy health center and saw a man go into the construction area. Police responded and determined it was a cleaning crew, cleaning the roof of Papa Gino's.
Monday, Aug. 5
12:39 a.m.: A caller reported an intoxicated man on Lee at Water streets. Police gave him a ride home.
1:56 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a disabled tractor trailer on Purchase at Glines street. The tractor trailer had been unable to make the turn.
4:33 a.m.: A Ford Fusion was repossessed on Sidney Road.
11:00 a.m.: The manager of a Mobil on Route 109 said a Ford Explorer had left without paying $20 worth of gas. The officer investigated, and found that the parents of the driver who had taken off were going to pay the bill.
11:07 a.m.: A man was slumped over the steering wheel of a car on Central Street. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
11:21 a.m.: Police received a report of animal cruelty. A dog was in a car for more than an hour at Target, a caller reported. The officer responded and found the dog was fine, and was not overheating.
12:13 p.m.: A woman walked in and asked to speak to an officer about conflict with her neighbors. She was advised to go to court to obtain a no-harassment order.
1:53 p.m.: Charlie's Mini Mart reported vandalism.
2:11 p.m.: A crash involving a motorcycle was reported on Central Street. The operator was taken to the hospital.
