Police Log: Pool Jumpers, Drivers Ignoring Red Light
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, June 14
A Milford man wanted in connection with a crime from Sudbury was arrested in Medway. According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, a warrant was issued for the Milford man, and thanks to the efforts of Sudbury detectives and officers from other towns the arrest was made. Matthew J. Medeiros, 32, of 49 Lawrence St., Milford, will now face a charge of larceny over $250. Grady said Medeiros was wanted in connection with a case of someone stealing equipment from a local business and reselling it.

6:23 p.m.: A caller on Eben Street told police that a woman in a dark colored SUV had dumped trash in the road. She called back to say a neighbor had spoken with the driver, and she picked up her trash.
7:44 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Colonial Road. A caller said a man was staying in a storage room on the property. Police responded and arrested Ruben D. Morales, 48, no known address, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

8:33 p.m.: A caller reported extremely loud music was coming from a black car parked on Grove Street. Police spoke to the driver.
10:54 p.m.: A caller reported loud music coming from a white house on Main Street. Police spoke to the occupants, who turned it down.
11:14 p.m.: A man reported a man in a burgundy colored car at McDonald's on South Main Street did not seem well. Police responded and arrested Arron Lawson, 29, of 4 Annemarie Lane, Franklin, on charges of OUI liquor and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
11:48 p.m.: A bartender at Central Tavern asked police for an escort to her vehicle, after a man was hanging around the bar at closing time.
Monday, June 17
1:32 a.m.: Four or five kids were hanging around the park at the Portuguese Club. Police spoke to them and told them to go home.
6:46 a.m.: A car struck a utility pole on Beaver Street, near Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. Air bags were deployed. An ambulance responded.
7:10 a.m.: EMTs responded to Green Street, where a 12-year-old girl had fallen off steps and injured her leg. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
9:04 a.m.: Two girls were reported to be jumping in pools on Madden Avenue. An officer responded and said he had picked them up and would be taking them back to Milford High School. He dropped them off with the officer assigned to the school.
9:15 a.m.: A 50-year-old man reportedly had a seizure at Lowe's. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
12:20 p.m.: A caller said drivers were ignoring the red lights on Medway Road at Beaver Street, and just speeding through. Police checked and everything was OK when they arrived.
1:10 p.m.: A caller reported a tractor trailer truck had crashed on East Main and Cedar Streets. No injuries were reported.
1:46 p.m.: A woman told police her nephew had stolen a large amount of money from her.
2:59 p.m.: A caller said several wires were down on School Street. Police responded and found it was cable wires. Comcast was notified.
4:36 p.m.: A woman said she was coming off the Milford Upper Charles Trail on a bike when a passing car hit the back of her bike. The car didn't stop. She gave a description of the car to police.
