Police Log: Stolen Casino Signs, People Who Won't Leave the Comfort Inn

Wednesday, Sept. 11
5:21 p.m.: An officer pulled over a vehicle on Cedar Street. Police arrested Donald C. Temple Jr., 57, of 11 MacArthur RD., Ashland, on charges of trespassing with a motor vehicle, Possession of a Class D Drug and Possession to Distribute a Class D drug.
10:05 p.m.: A caller said loud noises were coming from South Main Street between Hollis and Chapin streets.
Thursday, Sept. 12
9:22 a.m.: A caller on Whitewood Road reported someone had smashed his mailbox and stolen four anti-casino signs. Police filed a report.
10:37 a.m.: An officer responded to Milford High School, where a Department of Youth Services officer was attempting to serve a warrant. The local officer reported they were at the wrong school, and should have gone to Millbury High.
2:38 p.m.: Police were investigating a report of prostitution at Comfort Inn.
4:15 p.m.: The manager of Comfort Inn called police and reported three people were in front of his business and would not leave.
4:54 p.m.: A woman asked police to remove her ex from her apartment on Pheasant Circle.
5:42 p.m.: Police received a report of a disturbance in the emergency room at Milford Regional Medical Center. The call was cancelled before police arrived, as security got the situation under control.
6:26 p.m.: A woman reported a man had called her five times from the police station lobby, in violation of a restraining order. Police arrested Joseph L. Lamontagne, 60, of 12 Clark St., Apt. 3, Woonsocket, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
8:47 p.m.: A caller on Grove Street said he could hear young kids crying. An officer arrived and found kids playing.
Friday, Sept. 13
7:55 a.m.: A caller from Mother Hubbard Preschool reported that a Lincoln Town Car was driving very fast in the area, which is a school zone. She was told to call police again if it happens again.
8:47 a.m.: A woman reported a man in a white T shirt and shorts, with work boots, glasses and a dog leash around his neck had let his dog off leash on Sanclemente Circle. The dog was walking into other people's yards. The man then started an argument with the caller.
9:04 a.m.: Police received a report of a restraining order violation. An officer responded and arrested Cosmo P. Santullo, 57, of 21 West Shore RD., Sunapee, NH, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
3:18 p.m.: A caller outside Milford Town Library reported a group of five kids was being disrespectful.
