Police Log: Unattended Child, Loud TV, Dog Keeps Barking
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 5
5:20 p.m.: A caller complained his neighbor's TV was too loud. Police checked and the volume was OK.
5:43 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said she needed to speak to an officer about an assault. Police responded for a followup with the alleged suspect. He wasn't at home. Police are seeking a summons to charge James L. Ferguson, 71, of 72 Luby Ave., Milford, with domestic assault and battery.

6:20 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about a female making threats toward her 12-year-old daughter.Â
8:00 p.m.: A caller said a man in ripped shorts and a blue T-shirt was kneeling in the right turn lane at Fortune Boulevard at East Main Street. He got up and was staggering. She asked police to check on him. Police responded but he was gone.

11:30 p.m.: A caller reported a barking dog on Purchase Street.
Thursday, June 6
2:33 a.m.: The barking dog was a problem again on Purchase Street. Police spoke to the people involved.
10:23 a.m.: A caller said a week ago, a break-in was reported in his neighborhood on Tanglewood Drive. He said he had since received an email from a neighbor saying they saw a woman in a blue car carrying a clipboard and backpack in the area. The caller wanted extra patrols. He was advised on the proper use of 911.
2:09 p.m.: A caller said a 2- or a 3-year-old child was walking down Main Street by himself, near Hunan Gourmet. Police could not locate the boy.
2:12 p.m.: A 22-year-old shoplifter was being detained at Kohl's, after security said he had more than $100 of merchandise.
3:35 p.m.: Police received several calls about an elderly man on the ground bleeding, at Purchase Street and Ariel Circle. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
4:06 p.m.: . A man was reported to be out of control, "verbally attacking workers." Police removed him from the property.
